Children's Ministries 4/6

Bright Idea for Parents
Written by Sondra Buell

Reading to children is so very important, before they learn to read, and after they learn to read. Read all kinds of books: short books, chapter books, recipe books, subject books, and the Bible. Did you know . . .
· There is a great selection of Bible story books at the Mid-Continent Public Library.
· There is a wonderful selection of children’s books in our very own LUMC church library.
· I have a lot of books in my office that I’m more than willing to share with you.
We have several awesome Christian Bookstores in the KC metropolitan area.

Read more than books with your child. Also read brochures and maps, letters and cards, road signs and even the church bulletin! It opens your mind to receive and reflect just how Big and Awesome God’s Wonderful World is for us.
