Continue to keep in your prayers and in your minds those who are recently removed from
employment. The list continues to grow…a little. The list of unemployed includes some of the most intelligent, industrious and fine-looking individuals that I know. Any time you hear of possible employment, please call the church office with specifics. We’ll send it on to Bill or Darin or whoever is most able to receive the information. This really does work! We are seeing individuals go back to work and feeling good about the whole process.
If you have been struggling for any reason during the economy and need to drop the amount of your pledge for the church, we truly understand and even encourage you to do just that! Please leave a message, concerning this, for Wendy at the church office, 781-4554 X106. We do use this information for planning purposes and you help us greatly with your communication. Conversely, if you have been greatly blessed and if you feel God has had a hand on you and you wish to raise your pledge, we would probably entertain that also!

Children's Ministries 4/19/09
The Children’s Sunday School lesson for April 19, 2009, is called “Breakfast on the Beach.” It comes from John 21:1-14. After the resurrection, Jesus met the disciples on the beach and they ate breakfast together. The disciples were so happy to see him again.
The Children’s Stewardship Lessons today comes from John 21: 17b. Peter said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.” The children will discuss how their offering money helps “Feed the sheep.”
Have you seen the tulips by the library door? Take a good look and enjoy the beauty! “HIS Kids” Team 23 planted the bulbs last fall. What a fun surprise watching them come up and bloom. God’s miracle through the gift of life is an awesome thing to witness!
Thank you to the Children’s Sunday School
Committee, our pastors, and Andrew & Sarah Beard for helping with the Children’s Good Friday Worship Service. We appreciate all you did to make it
meaningful for the children and families.
You can register your child for Vacation Bible School at www.lumcmo.org
