LUMY is back on tonight at its normal time and place. Plan on being (t)here (FLC/Wesley Hall). LUMY is 105 minutes every Sunday night. If you have never been or if it has been awhile, it is time to check it out. Be there…and bring a friend. Sunday Night LUMY- 6:30-8:15pm in the FLC/Wesley Hall. The Confirmation Class of 2008 has been studying the Spiritual Disciplines taught to us by John Wesley. To help our Confirmands continue the discipline of Bible Study, LUMC will be presenting class members with a Bible. You can help support these newest young members of our church. Sunday School classes, LUMC organizations and individuals can offer support, congratulations and good wishes to our youth by helping. The cost is $15.00. Checks should be made payable to Liberty United Methodist Church with a notation indicating that the money is for a confirmation Bible. Thank you!

Wednesday Night- Bible and Film Studies are showing every Wednesday night. 5-6pm is 9th-12th-Grade Dinner and a Movie in Study Center 4. 6:30-7:30pm is 7th-and 8th-Grade Bible and Film in Study Center 4. If you are in the 7th-and 8th-grade Bible Study, please do not come over before 6:15pm. Let Andrew Beard know if you have any questions.

Mark your calendars, Monday, May 19th-Thursday, May 22nd, is Liberty United Methodist Youth week at Hy-Vee. We will have fliers available and if you take one of the fliers in, LUMY will receive 5% back on everything that you purchase to go towards our summer trips and missions. This is a great way to help this ministry and help reduce the costs of events.

Attention, Parents-Sunday, May 4th, there will be a mini summer meeting for LUMY. We will hand out our summer calendars with all the dates of activities. Please don’t miss this very brief meeting from 6:00-6:30pm in the FLC/Wesley Hall.

Vacation Bible School- VBS is quickly approaching and the only way it can operate is with help from youth and volunteers. If you want to be a teen helper, please put July 21 - 25th on your summer calendars and contact Kelly Cowger at 781-7993, or e-mail Sondra Buell at Sondra.Buell@lumcmo.org.
