National Day of Prayer, Thursday, May 1
I call on you, O God, for you will answer me; give ear to me and hear my prayer. Psalm 17:6
Join in a Prayer Vigil on Thursday, May 1, from 9:30 am—9:30 pm as we bow in observance of the National Day of Prayer. Sign up for a 30-minute time slot to come to the church and pray by:
· Filling out the commitment card in your April 27 VIEW or May 4
· Signing up after worship services on April 20 & April 27 or by contacting Lora Wiles at lora.wiles@lumcmo.org
Prayer prompts will be available for use during the prayer vigil.
Take a 40-Day Prayer Challenge beginning May 1. The Marriage Committee encourages all couples to commit to 40 Days of Praying together 5 minutes daily for 40 days. Sign a commitment card on April 20 or 27 to signify your acceptance of the 40-0Day Challenge. Singles are also welcome to pair with a friend for 40 Days of prayer. Give God 200 minutes over 40 days, and expect great things in return.
Upcoming opportunities to Serve and Study...
Cradle Roll Scrapbookers will meet on Saturday, April 26, at 5pm at The Paperie Place on the Liberty Square to make cards for babies baptized in our church. Anyone interested is welcome to donate time and materials to this ministry.
Faith, Fun and Fellowship invites you to join them in a study of Thessalonians, Timothy and Titus, commonly called the Pastoral Epistles. Bonnie Endicott teaches this study which will meet on Tuesdays in Ark 2 at 6:45pm beginning May 6.
