Can YOU Help?
The Contemporary Worship Committee is fairly new and has been busy in 2008. Recently, the committee and Voices in Praise ran a concessions stand and sale table at the Mom 2 Mom sale. All the proceeds went to the family of Karlie Jo McQueen, a 2 ½-year-old girl battling cancer. The committee also chose to incorporate acolytes into the contemporary services, which began on Palm Sunday. Other exciting things include new shelves and hooks for diaper bags in the Family Life Center restrooms as well as a newly decorated worship altar.
This is all to say that the Contemporary Worship Committee could use your help! We need people to help the acolytes each week, run PowerPoint slides at 10:30am service, pass out visitor bags, decorate for special events, and brainstorm ideas to improve our worship. The more help we have, the more ways we can serve this great church.
