LUMY 3/9

Sunday Night LUMY- LUMY is 105 minutes every Sunday night where we rock your face off. If you haven’t been here in awhile, it is time to check it out again. Be there…and bring a friend. Sunday Night LUMY. 6:30-8:15pm in the FLC/Wesley Hall. Please do not show up before 6:30 unless asked.

Wednesday Night- Bible and Film Studies on Wednesday. 5-6pm is 9th-12th-Grade Dinner and a Movie in Study Center 4. 6:30-7:30pm is 7th-and 8th-Grade Bible and Film in Study Center 4.

Sunday School- Don’t forget ONE SUNDAY SCHOOL HOUR for all youth. The Youth Sunday School hour is from 9:30-10:30am in the basement of the Study Center. 7th & 8th grade will meet in Study Center 4 and 9th-12th grade will meet in the LUMY room. If your family worships at 9:00am Contemporary, I would recommend you attend the first part of worship, then head over at 9:30 for Sunday School. If you have any questions about Sunday school, worship times, or anything else, call Andrew.

Palm Sunday LUMY- Sunday, March 16th, is Palm Sunday. We are still having LUMY that night, but we are doing things a little differently. The evening will start at 6:00pm and will be over at 9:00pm. Since it is Holy Week, starting at 6:00pm we are going to watch The Passion of the Christ. If you have not seen this film, or if it has been awhile since you have seen it, I highly recommend you watch it. It is a great reminder of what our Lord and Savior went through for each of us. We are opening up the whole evening to the entire church. Please plan on being there. Please also note, the movie is rated “R” for graphic violence during the execution scene. If you or your parents are not comfortable with this, that is fine. If your family is planning on coming, please note, this is not a movie for young children. We are planning on having childcare, so we will need to know in advance if any children are coming. To pre-register for childcare you must email Sondra Buell at Sondra.buell@lumcmo.org. Holy Week Schedule- There is no Flight Training on Monday, March 17th; Tuesday March 18th; Monday, March 24th; or Tuesday, March 25th, due to Spring break and Holy Week. There is also no LUMY on Easter Sunday, March 23rd. Please attend all the Holy Week activities that the church offers.
