Stone Soup Luncheon to benefit Spofford will be held at the First UMC, 400 W. Maple, Independence, MO, on Sunday, March 30th, from 11:30am to 2pm. There are 5 area churches involved in the fundraiser. Adults $6 - Children $3
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. During April, Hereford House and Pierpont’s at Union Station will donate a portion of their soup sales to the Stone Soup Campaign.
Do you like to sew? If so, would you like to make drawstring bags for the children at Spoffod to take home their clothing and other items? Someone donated the fabric to Spofford.
