Children's Ministries

March 9 lesson comes from John 13:1-20
In today’s story we learn that Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. Jesus did not come for glory or riches. He came to show us how to be humble servants. Can you think of ways that we can serve others?
An activity to do at home: Give your child a robe, a long towel, and a large bowl with or without water. Him him/her act out what Jesus did for his friends.

All children are invited to help wave Palm Branches in the Palm Branch Parade during the opening song for worship on March 16th. Meet Sondra in the narthex/foyer five minutes before the service start time to receive your palm and prepare for the parade. (Parents, you are invited to help us/join us if you have shy small children.)

Yes, children’s Sunday School classes do meet at the regular times on Easter Sunday! It will be a fun Sunday. We will release our Easter butterflies!

Vacation Bible School
July 21-25 ~ 9:00 to noon
We are currently recruiting
coordinators, teachers, teens, and helpers. Pick up a brochure in the foyer/narthex. Sign up early and get the position and age level you want.

Like to build?
The VBS Directors are seeking someone, or several someones, who could help us envision and construct a full- sized free-standing treehouse. We would like to use it for a stage decoration during the week of VBS, and then auction it off at the VBS picnic, with the money going towards our mission project. Interested? Contact Sondra Buell at the church office, or Kelly Cowger at 781-7470.

Like to sew?
The VBS Directors are
seeking someone who will sew a full-sized dog costume. We have the pattern. If you are interested, please contact Sondra Buell or Kelly Cowger
at 781-7470.
