March 16 lesson comes from Matthew 21:1-11
Many people cheered when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey. They hoped he was the Messiah. Ask your child(ren) what we can do today to welcome Jesus into our lives.
Something to do at home: Have your child walk around on all fours pretending to be the donkey carrying Jesus. Put a blanket on his or her back like the friends did for Jesus. Then swap places and let your child put a blanket on your back before you “carry Jesus.”
