LUMY 3/16

Today is Palm Sunday, the “kickoff” of Holy Week. We are still having LUMY that night, but we are doing things a little differently. The evening will start at 6:00pm and will be over at about 8:30pm. Since it is Holy Week, starting at 6:00pm we are going to watch The Passion of the Christ. If you have not seen this film, or if it has been awhile since you have seen it, I highly recommend you join us tonight to watch it. It is a great reminder of what our Lord and Savior went through for each of us. We are opening the whole evening up to the entire church. Please plan on being there. Please also note, the movie is rated “R” for graphic violence during the execution scene. If you or your parents are not comfortable with this, that is fine. If your family is planning on coming, please note, this is not a movie for young children. We are planning on having childcare, so we will need to know in advance if any children are coming. To preregister for childcare you must email Sondra Buell at Sondra.buell@lumcmo.org. Please let Andrew know if you have any questions.

We will not have LUMY on Easter Sunday, but please plan on being back for LUMY on March 30th. LUMY is 105 minutes (almost) every Sunday night where we kick it. If you haven’t been here in awhile, it is time to check it out again. Be there…and bring a friend. Sunday Night LUMY. (Normally) 6:30-8:15pm in the FLC/Wesley Hall.

LUMY Holy Week Schedule- There is no Flight Training on Monday, March 17th; Tuesday, March 18th; Monday, March 24th; or Tuesday, March 25th, due to Spring break and Holy Week. Though there is dinner, there will be no Youth activities on Wednesday, March 19th. There is also no LUMY on Easter Sunday, March 23rd. Please attend all the Holy Week activities that the church offers.
