Confirmation 3/30

The "Rite of Confirmation" service for the Confirmation Class of 2008 will be held on Saturday evening, April 26th, at 7:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. All members of the congregation who would like to attend the service are welcome. This service will follow a banquet and photo session for the Confirmands and their families.

The Confirmation Class of 2008 has been studying the Spiritual Disciplines taught to us by John Wesley. To help our Confirmands continue the discipline of Bible Study, LUMC will be presenting this year’s class members with a Bible. You may contribute as a Sunday School Class, a Small Group or individually toward the purchase of Bibles to be given as gifts to the thirty-three 6th- grade students who will be joining the church. Your gift of $15 toward the purchase of a Bible would be gratefully accepted. Make your check to LUMC with “Confirmation Bibles” in the memo line and drop it off in the black box outside of the youth office or on the wall outside of the main doors into the FLC/Wesley hall.
