It amazes me how busy we are as a church. There are constantly meetings, small groups, youth groups, Scouts, rehearsals, dinners and weddings. On Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings every possible room is full, and both worship centers are busy non-stop. Thinking about the entire ministry that is done here is exciting and sometimes daunting. This past Sunday, as I filled the pulpit for Mark, it became abundantly clear how much we rely on the laity to do the work of the church. This is the way a church should run! Today, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to all who donate so many hours working for the Kingdom here at Liberty United Methodist Church. I especially want to thank our volunteer liturgists, Rev. Arlin Renfrow, Tricia Kiely, Rev. Brian Sommers and Cara Pilch, who led worship this past Sunday, our Altar Guild which prepared communion, our ushers, greeters, teachers, drivers, hospitality, cooks, helpers, worship committees, Chancel Choir and Praise t Team. (Please forgive me if I forgot to mention your volunteer group.)
Keep up the great and godly work; you make a difference!
