Love INC of Clay County has been in Liberty, Missouri, working with low -ncome families, individuals, elderly and disabled since 1990. Our mission in the community is to mobilize the Body of Christ to work together to meet the needs of the poor. We do that with all Christ-centered churches working together in your community. Christian volunteers play a vital role in us being able to meet the needs of those in need in our community.
Love INC is in urgent need of volunteers to carry out our mission. Our call volume in 2004 was from 100 to 200 calls a month. We now are at a call volume that ranges from 500 to 600 calls per month. We have grown as a ministry in not only call volume but in the needs met in our community. Needs coming to Love INC in 2005 were in the $180,000 range. Needs through August of 2008 are already at $239,000. We administer the Liberty Ministerial Alliance fund which assists with emergency assistance needs; however, funds are down 41% from 2007. We continue to grow our Love INC GAP ministries (used furniture, food vouchers, clothing, housewares, hygiene kits, baby supplies and furniture/equipment, and much more). This has increased 6% from 2007. For church partners outside of Liberty, the Love INC board started a designated fund which church partners could donate to if their church body was not in Liberty.

Volunteers are needed in the thrift store and in our Clearinghouse working with clients.
