LUMY 5/11

Summer calendars are available. We have calendars for the incoming 5th-graders, the incoming 6th-graders and another one for the 7th-12th-graders. Swing by the bulletin board outside of the youth office to pick one up.

We are getting ready to order our Summer T-shirts. We will be placing the order on May 19th. So please sign up with shirt size and $12.00 by May 18th.

Next week we are teaming up with Hy-Vee for a fundraiser. Pick up a flyer and do your weekly shopping at Hy-Vee and 5% of your purchase goes to LUMY. Flyers will be at the coffee sales tables, and in the youth office. This runs from the 18th-22nd of May.

Wednesday night Bible study goes to Narnia this week. 6th-12th-graders, meet in the LUMY room/Study Center 105 for a viewing of the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. We will be serving pizza in the study Center. Movie starts at 5:00 and runs till 7:35 or so. This will be followed up by a trip to the movies on Sunday night, May 18th, (in place of LUMY) to see Prince Caspian. Meet in the FLC at 6:15. Cost is 6:00, bring money for snacks!

Confirmation Bibles. If anyone is interested in purchasing a Bible for our confirmation class, they are $15.00 and you can turn that money into the front office or in the black box outside of the youth office. We had to purchase 35 Bibles and have only had donations for 6 of them. Thank you.
