Children's Ministries 5/25

The Sunday School lesson for May 25 comes from Acts 16: 11-15. The kids will learn about Lydia, who listened to Paul and became a believer, too! Lydia used her resources to help spread the gospel of Jesus. Ask your child about Lydia and how the color purple was a part of the story.

How long has it been since you’ve been to a good ‘ole Methodist potluck luncheon?
Here’s your chance! On June 1, the Children’s Sunday School Committee will be hosting a
“School’s Out ~ Let’s Celebrate” party.
Who: All Sunday School Kids, their families, and anyone else who wants to help us CELEBRATE!
What: Potluck picnic lunch (drinks provided); including activities, games and fellowship
When: 12:00 noon
Where: LUMC parking lot and playground

Have you signed up for the Princess Ball? It will be held Friday evening, June 6, from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in Wesley Hall for little girls age 3, up through 5th grade. Princesses, dress in your fanciest gown and bring an escort of your choosing (father, grandfather, uncle, or friend). Register on-line at www.lumcmo.org or call the church office at 781-4554, ext. 115.

For the Building Christ-Like Boys event, we are in need of borrowing small hammers, and collected scraps of PVC pipe. If you have either of these, please call Eddie Owen at 781-7470

This year’s Vacation Bible School theme is “God’s Big Backyard.” Do you have photos of your kids doing fun things in your backyard? If so, send a copy to Sondra.Buell@lumcmo.org and we’ll include the photo on our Backyard Bulletin Board for VBS.
