Today there is Sunday School only for Preschool and Nursery Children. They will learn about the resurrection from Luke 24:1-12. They’ll learn that Jesus is ALIVE and that God brings new life to us!
In today’s Children’s Stewardship Lesson the children will discuss why we worship Jesus! Today is a wonderful day of celebration and our response to him is worship and praise. Part of worship is giving our offerings and our time back to him.
The Nursery Committee and Cradle Roll will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt, circle time, and appropriate Easter crafts in the nursery today for all children 2 and under while you attend worship.
The Mother/Son Dirt Date is this coming Friday, April 17th from 6:30 to 8:30. This event is for boys age 4 through 5th grade and their moms. (If mom can’t come, please come with grandmother, an aunt, or other
special lady.)
If members of the congregation would like to help with the event, we are looking for table/room hosts (women who don’t have young sons), and donations of:
Gummy worms
Whipped cream
Sandwich-sized Ziplock baggies
Oreo cookies
