Easter Morning ~
A Time for Celebration!
The mood of reflection and repentance of Lent has passed, and this morning we celebrate our risen Lord. Some have “given up” things for Lent. Consider carefully whether those are things you really want to add back to your lives. Some have “taken on” new spiritual disciplines, e.g., prayer or Bible study. Consider carefully whether those are things you can afford to stop now that Lent has passed.
“It is written, ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’ “
Deuteronomy 8:3, Matthew 4:4
