Easter Choir for Contemporary Services
The Christmas Choir was such a success that we’d like to celebrate Easter by joining voices with the Praise Team and Band again and making a “joyful noise” to our risen Lord! We’ll have a brief meeting between contemporary services at 10:15 on March 15th to pass out music and practice CDs. Then we’ll rehearse the next 4 Tuesdays from 6:30 to 7:30, childcare provided. We’ll be learning a song to
present during the offering along with songs to lead the congregation in worship. We’ll also take some time for fellowship and prayer. The choir will sing on Easter, April 12, at the 9:00 and 10:30 services. To sign up, contact Melody Sommers: melody.sommers@lumcmo.org; 781-4554 ext. 121.

Celebrating the generation that gave this country so much to be proud of, the LUMC Music
Department will bring us a show of narration and music together that will touch your heart.
Focusing on our country’s history from 1900 to the 1940s, both sacred and secular music and events will be showcased. Top off the evening with ice cream and good friends.
Presented in cooperation with the Annie Moses Band’s Wolaver
family from their summer 2008 production.
