College Connect—During finals week, we got together as a church and sent our college students $5.00 gift cards from different establishments to say good luck. Well, it is almost finals time again, and we would like to say good luck and show our support of all their hard work! If you, your family, your Sunday School class would like to purchase $5.00 gift cards, we would love to have your help! You can drop them off in the black box outside of the youth office or in the front office. Thanks for your help!

Summer Intern—LUMY is hiring college students for summer internships. If you have finished your freshman year of college and are under 24 years old and are interested, please contact Sarah Beard.

Don’t miss the wrap-up! 6th-7th grades will meet at 5:30 and 8-12th will meet at 6:30...then look out, next week we are celebrating!

Mission Trip- Each summer LUMY does mission work both locally and around the country. This summer we are planning on traveling back to New Orleans to continue cleanup. This trip is for students that have completed 8th grade-graduated seniors. The tentative dates are Sunday, May 31st-Saturday, June 6th. Please let us know ASAP if you are interested. We need to have a good idea if you want to go by Palm Sunday, April 5th. This does not lock you in, but if we don’t have some interest, we will not move forward with this trip. This will be our only youth mission “trip” this summer due to camp, Faithworks, VBS, the college mission trip...and the current economic status of our country. The current tentative cost for this mission trip is $250. This amount is pending on participation, any fundraisers, the mission auction, and gas prices. Let us know if you have any questions.

Most of you are well aware, we are going back to BigStuf Camp in Panama City Beach, FL, this summer. It is amazing. This year we are leaving sometime on Tuesday, June 16th, and arriving back sometime on Monday, June 22nd. We have a few spots that have opened up for the trip. If you want to go, let us know ASAP. The cost is $500. Let us know if you are interested!
