Every year LUMC offers wonderful Holy Week services that lead up to powerful celebrations on Easter morning. The Disciple classes are working on making this a meaningful event for all who attend. The delicious, authentic Jewish meal will be a vehicle for explaining the Jewish and Christian traditions surrounding Passover. Voices in Praise will provide music for reflection as we finish the meal and enter a time of worship and communion with a message by Pastor Mark. Children are welcome, as the traditional Passover meal is meant to be a rich time for the whole family.
The menu includes:
Lemon Chicken, Tabbouleh Salad
Charoseth (made with apples), Pita Bread
Angel Food Cake
The date is Thursday, April 9, at 6:30 in the Family Life Center.
