The Children’s Sunday School Lessons for March:
B.i.G. Idea for March: We believe that the stories of Peter show us that God can use imperfect people.
B.i.G. Theme for March: Peter, the Story of a Disciple
B.i.G. Bible Memory Verse for March: “We have found the Messiah.” John 1:41
The Children’s Stewardship Lessons in March will focus on all aspects of Stewardship: Our Prayers, our Presence, our Gifts, and our Service. Each week, the children will light candles on a Lenten Cross and discuss these things in relation to Lent. If you would like a Lenten cross to use at home, contact Sondra Buell and she will give you the directions.
The children will want to be present in Sunday School in March because we will be participating in a butterfly unit,
comparing the caterpillar, cocoon and butterfly to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. This is a favorite activity for our LUMC kids! Our butterfly release will happen on Easter Sunday.

We will honor our children’s Sunday School teachers with an Appreciation Breakfast on March 29th. We will need substitutes to cover the classes – thanks to EVERYONE who helps us on these 5th Sunday teacher training days.

Games, crazy good music, junk food (and good food!), awesome Bible lessons on How God Uses Imperfect People, off-campus trip, worship, fabulous fun . . . all at the Study Center with college students!
