The children’s Sunday School lesson for today is called Lost and Found. It comes from Luke 15:8-10. The kids will learn about a woman who lost a coin. It wasn’t much, but it was all she had. The coin was important to the woman, just as we are important to God.
Donations needed for our children’s ministries.
We are in need of: Blue painters tape, glue sticks, any color pipe cleaners, and butterfly stickers. If you can help us with any of these items, please bring them to Sondra’s office, room 212.
During the month of February, the children’s Stewardship Lessons focus on “Our Presence.” Our teacher covenant states that: we will be in attendance unless we’re ill or out of town. Please thank our teachers for setting such a good example of good attendance to our children!
Over the next several weeks, we will be featuring our Methodist Church Camps. This week’s question: How many camps do we have and where are they?
*Blue Mountain United Methodist Center is nestled between Van East and Blue Mountain and
surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest. Its address is Frederickton, MO.
*Camp Galilee is located on its Mid-Eastern
namesake lake. Its address is El Dorado
Springs, MO.
*Camp Jo-Ota is located in the north central part of the state. Its address is Clarence, MO.
*Wilderness Retreat and Development Center is the closest to LUMC. Its address is Lawson, MO.
Tomorrow there will be a Veggie-Tales party for our children at church, beginning at 10:00. Kids (and their parents or babysitters) meet Ms. Sondra in Wesley Hall. We’ll be watching a movie, so pillows and blankets are welcome! We’ll be learning all about promises and patience.
