2009 LUMY Calendars-
The new calendars are in! They are available outside both worship areas upstairs and down. They are also available outside our office and at most LUMY events. Get one today to stay up with the special events, trips, and even some tentative summer dates

LUMY is back tonight! Tonight, January 11th, will be the first LUMY of the New Year. You do not want to miss this one. LUMY meets in the FLC/Wesley Hall. LUMY 101 (6th-7th-graders) meets from 5:30-6:45 and LUMY (8th-12th-graders) meets from 6:30-8:30pm.
LUMY on the 18th- Students don’t have school on Monday, January 19th, so we are doing something fun on January 18th after LUMY. All LUMY will meet from 6:30-8:30pm. Then after that we are going to do something as a group. More details soon.

New Website -

Bible Study- Wednesday Night Bible Study will start back on January 14th, 2009. At last night’s parent meeting we discussed the new Bible study curriculum for the spring. We will be delving into developing discernment starting with our media influence. We are so excited about this Bible study created by Walt Mueller. Safe Sanctuary Training- To work with our students, sponsor events, or attend LUMY trips, you need to have our Safe Sanctuary Training. This training is only about an hour. We have several
training dates on the calendar: 1/7, 1/14, 1/21, and 1/28. All those trainings are on Wednesdays in room 221 from 7:15-8:15. To get signed up, please contact Everett Easley at Everett.easley@lumcmo.org or at 781-4554 X 107. I am planning on doing an additional Safe Sanctuary Training on Monday, January 12th, from 7-8pm. If you are interested in that training, please contact Andrew to get signed up.
