Mission News 12/14

On November 30, members of the LUMC Disaster Response Team joined with the Missouri Conference VIM director, Jeff Baker, and his wife, Laura, and two members of the Wentzville UMC and traveled to Baton Rouge, LA. Our job consisted of damaged tree removal. We helped several elderly people whose trees had damage or were in danger of damaging their homes. It was a great experience getting to know and help others. Our faith was renewed. Those from Liberty were Bill Moorefield, Jim Gleason, Kevin Fisher and Bridget Fox.
