Drama Opportunity
Drama can be a meaningful aspect of worship, another way to express a particular message to worshipers. LUMC is looking for someone to head up a drama ministry for our contemporary services. Initially, we would like to incorporate this ministry during Advent and Christmas. If you have a passion for this type of ministry and would be willing to lead it (with help from the staff), or if you would like to be a part of such a ministry, please contact Melody Sommers at melody.sommers@lumcmo.org or call 781-4554 extension 121. Contemporary Christmas Choir
The final rehearsals for the Christmas choir will be this Tuesday, December 2nd, and the following Tuesday, Dec. 9th, from 6:30 – 7:30. Over 20 people are signed up and it’s still not too late to join us! If you need more information, contact Melody Sommers at 781-4554 ext. 121 or melodysommers@lumcmo.org.
Special Presentation December 14th
The 9:00 and 10:30 services will be offering a special Christmas celebration on December 14th. The 20+ member Christmas choir will sing, songs written by Melody Sommers will be shared, and Pastor Scott will bring a message about the Everlasting Father – a name for the Messiah in Isaiah 9:6. We offer this as a gift to you, the worshipers of LUMC and to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
