LUMC is the Place to be on Wednesdays

Faith Lessons: Bible Stories for Adults~6-7 pm in the Study Center. Teaching videos filmed in the Holy Land provide fascinating context and practical application to the stories of the Bible. Julie & Tony Bavuso host this discussion group timed to meet the schedules of HIS Kids parents and others here for Wednesday night activities. Everyone is invited to come once or come every week for this informal time of learning and fellowship.

Firm Foundations Prayer Ministry ~ 6 pm in Study Center garage classroom. If you need a quiet place to pray or would like someone to pray with you, you are welcome any Wednesday. Requests submitted to the church are also lifted in prayer beginning at 6:30. If you’re a prayer warrior, we need you on our team. Contact Lora Wiles for more information.

Other Great Ministries for people of all ages happen on Wednesdays including:

Sunday Small Groups for Young Couples are Growing in Numbers

Journey Small Group at 9:45 Sundays in Ark 2 welcomes young couples (and singles) in their 20s & 30s who worship at either traditional service. This social and supportive group of adults is looking for more people to join them as they begin Making Love Last a Lifetime beginning December 7. Come gain a biblical perspective on love and marriage. The Fishers and Stigalls facilitate.

C3 , the newest small group for couples, meets at 10:30 Sundays in room 110. Like Journey, they’re studying Making Love Last a Lifetime. C3 is timed to coincide with couples who prefer a contemporary worship service available at 9:00 am. What’s with the name C3 ? Come check them out and ask! The Thomasons facilitate.

Young Couples Bible Study taught by Bonnie Endicott meets Sundays at 4:30 pm in Ark 2. This is a relaxed study group where all questions are welcome. No previous Bible study experience is require. Childcare is available, and they’re welcoming additional couples to the group.
