Seasoned Citizens Luncheon and Fellowship
A growing number of LUMC senior citizens are spicing up the middle of their month with a potluck luncheon on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11:45 in the Study Center. All seniors are invited to bring a place setting to use and dish to share. Enjoy a time of games or a movie after lunch. No reservation required.

· Register for 6-week Grief Support classes beginning Monday.
· Volunteer to help a family from Love Inc. or Della Lamb this Christmas.
· $5 Gift Cards from local fast food and discount stores are still being collected for care packages to our college students.

Faith Lessons: Bible Stories for Adults Wednesdays, 6-7 pm in the Study Center. Teaching video filmed in the Holy Land provides fascinating context and practical application to the stories of the Bible. Your faith will come alive as never before. Julie & Tony Bavuso host this discussion group timed to meet the schedules of HIS Kids parents and others here for Wednesday night dinner. Everyone is invited.
Can We Talk? Soul Stirring Conversations with God will be offered as a women’s small group on Sunday mornings at 7 am in room 109. Lisa Thomas facilitates.
Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis’ classic, will be the next Promise Keepers Study which begins Tuesday, November 25, at 6 am in Study Center 3. All men are invited to join in a discussion of this book which provides a powerful presentation of core Christian teachings.
Journey, a group of couples and singles in their 20s and 30s, is offering the popular study, Making Love Last a Lifetime, at 9:45 in Ark 2 beginning December 7. Join them for this DVD and discussion of the Biblical perspective on love and marriage.
Much of the world conflict that makes the news has its roots in religious differences. Join Lighthouse small group for Christianity and World Religions beginning Dec 7 at 9:45 in Study Center 2. You’ll get a brief overview of various religions, explore commonalities and differences, and discuss ways to build bridges to reach out to non-Christians. Cara Pilch facilitates.
