LUMY 8/24

As you saw on the cover we are getting back into the swing of things around here and we want you to know what’s going on and be involved. So tonight we are having our Parent meeting. If you are a student in grades 6th-12th or you’re a parent of a student in one of those grades we invite you to come out. Our Fall Parent meeting will be tonight, Sunday, August 24th. If you have a student going into 6th or 7th grade, your meeting time will be from 5-6pm in the FLC/Wesley Hall. If you have a student going into 8th-12th grade, your meeting time will be from 6:30-7:15pm also in the FLC/Wesley Hall. This is when you will first be able to get a fall calendar, sign up for events, buy your fall LUMY shirt, ask us any questions you may have, and a plethora of other things. We look forward to seeing and meeting you tonight. Let us know if you have any questions.

Rock the Light- This is a concert and lock in that you don’t want to miss for students 6th-12th. We will meet and leave immediately after school on Friday, August 29th and head down to Starlight Theatre. We’ll have a lock-in the FLC/Wesley hall that night. The next morning we will have breakfast at the church and head out to Starlight for a full day of music. The cost covers lunch and dinner on Saturday and transportation. We are looking for people to help out with breakfast on Saturday. This will be a donation of food and time to cook, or drop off (egg casseroles, biscuits and gravy etc.). We also need sponsors for either day or the lock in! If you like music and hanging out, this is an event you will want to sponsor...it’s an easy one!
You can come for Friday only, Saturday only, or both days. The option is up to you. The prices are as follows:
Friday only: $25.00 ~ Saturday only: $35.00 ~ Both days: $45.00

5th Quarter- Every year we have a huge after party after the first home Liberty Football game. This year the 5th Quarter is on Friday, September 5th from when the game is over until midnight. We’ll have music, games, inflatables, prizes, and entertainment. The cost for the event is only $3. More details to come.

First LUMY- We will have the First LUMY of the Year on Sunday, September 7th. We will have all the details about LUMY times, sponsors, small groups, and how you can help out tonight at the Parent Meeting.
