Children's Ministries 8/31

The Children’s Sunday School lesson for August 31 comes from Acts 11:19-30. The Bible story is about the church in Antioch and how they helped the church in Jerusalem by sending them an offering. Ask your child, “What do you think happens when you give money in an offering?”

Where oh where is my HERO? This is the question from several of our children’s Sunday School classes.

Parents of 3rd-graders: It’s time! It’s time to register your child for the 3rd-grade Bible lock-in. It’s happening September 5 and 6th, from 7:00 pm on Friday to 9:00 am on Saturday in the LUMC Study Center. You can register on-line or call the church office at 781-4554. Cost $5.00

We will be celebrating our 3rd-Graders with Bible Sunday on September 7th at a special service starting at 12:00 noon. At this service, each child will be presented with their own children's edition of God's word! If you would like to make a donation for the purchase of a Bible for one of our 3rd-graders, the cost is $20.00. Checks can be made payable to LUMC with "3rd-Grade Bibles" in the memo section.
