What is you child learning in Sunday School? 2/24

February 24Blessed Are the Peacemakers—Matthew 5:1-12Jesus taught something called The Beatitudes. One of the
Beatitudes says, “Blessed Are the Peacemakers.” This week you’ll learn about peace. What things are peaceful to you—a pretty meadow, soft music, a cushy pillow? Do you face a situation every day that needs some peace?

An activity you can do at home would be to sing the song, “If You’re Happy and You Know It” with your child.
Just for fun, change the word “happy” to “blessed.”
If you’re happy (blessed) and you know it, clap your hands. If you’re happy (blessed) and you know it, clap your hands. If you’re happy (blessed) and you know it, then your face will surely show it.
If you’re happy (blessed) and you know it, clap your hands.Feel free to change the actions as you sing. You can stomp your feet, twirl around, or even blink your eyes.
